Plouă-n viața mea cu tine / It rains through my life with you
Îmi dau mugurii și-o floare / Buds unfold, my roots run deep
Ce-mi împodobesc tulpina / Dressing up my fragile frame
Simt sărutul tău pe buze / I feel your kiss upon my heart.
Întind ramuri către tine / I wait for you as branches do
Alb covor fac din petale / White petals form a silent glow
Plouă-n viața mea cu tine,
Înverzesc și îmi e bine,
Cu nesaț îți sorb toți stropii,
Când de mine te apropii.
Mă trezești din hibernare,
Îmi dau mugurii și-o floare,
Înfrunzesc, dau brânci la lene,
Clocotește seva-n vene.
Mă inunzi la rădăcină,
Noi mlădițe dau să vină,
Ce-mi împodobesc tulpina
Și-mi vor ocroti grădina.
Cu rafale reci pe spate,
Îmi speli multele păcate,
Iar când mă stropești pe frunze,
Simt sărutul tău pe buze.
Când din stânga mă învălui
Și-ndelung asupra-mi stărui,
Te aștept cum se cuvine,
Întind ramuri către tine.
Las să cadă câte-o floare,
În piept inima-mi tresare,
Dar, de lăcrimezi cu jale,
Alb covor fac din petale,
Peste iarba verde, udă,
Nimenea să nu te-audă
Când te-afunzi în mușchiul moale
Și-mi spui dragostele tale.

ENGLISH ADAPTATION
It rains through my life with you,
And suddenly, I bloom anew,
Every drop I deeply take
When you come close, when you awake.
You pull me out of winter’s sleep,
Buds unfold, my roots run deep,
Leaves arise, I shed my still,
Sap ignites with restless will.
You flood the soil beneath my core,
New young branches start to grow,
Dressing up my fragile frame,
Guarding all I became.
With cold winds brushing down my spine,
You cleanse these hidden faults of mine,
And when your drops reach every part,
I feel your kiss upon my heart.
When you surround me from one side
And linger there, no need to hide,
I wait for you as branches do,
Stretching slowly toward you.
I let a fragile blossom fall,
My heart still trembles through it all,
And if your tears begin to show,
White petals form a silent glow.
On wet green grass, where none can hear,
You sink into the moss so near,
And softly there, with no display,
You whisper love that chose to stay.
